Terms of Payment

Booking Deposit is required before the confirmation. (ONLINE TRANSFER only, non-refundable)

Booking is not allowed to be changed (Date, Vehicle Model)

Basic rate is required upon car collection. (Security Deposit is required upon car collection Cash or Online Transfer only)

and is refundable within 3 day if doesn’t have any summons or damages incurred.

Variable cost is to be paid upon return of the car or deduct from security deposit.

Delivery & Collection Service

Rental vehicles should be picked up and returned to Forza Car Rental’s office. (Valencia Golf Club). However, Forza Car Rental do provide delivery within KL & Selangor (10am-10pm) but with request only and additional charges will be incurred. Rates will be provided at the time of enquiry or confirmation of booking.

Driving License – Min & Max Age

The Renter and authorised drivers shall be minimum ages or 21 years old and maximum ages of 65 years old. A driver must provide a valid, current local Malaysian driving license or international driving license permit with qualified experience of at least 1 year.

Probationary drivers are not allowed. (“P” license)

Renter shall provide driver’s photocopy of driving license and id/ passport upon booking for insurance purposes.

Additional Renter’s Driver

The rental vehicle is normally only insured for the person who makes the rental. If others plan to drive the car, they must present at the time of rental to be added to the Rental Agreement  subject to presenting a full driver’s license that has been held for at least a year. There is a fee to driver over the duration of the rental. Maximum up to 3 persons, RM10 per person extra. (inclusive of 6% goods & services tax).

Insurance

Insurance coverage of unlimited liability for death or injury to third party liability up to RM1 million. In the event of any damage or loss caused to the rental vehicle by the Renter, regardless of whether Renter is at fault or not, the Renter is liable to pay the full including loss of use and repairing cost as determined by Forza Car Rental. In the case of major damage happened to Forza Car Rental’s vehicle that required Forza Car Rental to claim from Insurance Company, then the time spent on claiming from the insurance company and sending for repairing would have resulted in loss for Forza Car Rental. The Renter is liable to pay 3 months full rental and excess fee to Forza Car Rental as determined by Forza Car Rental. 

Notwithstanding to the above CDW shall not cover the following event:

Where Forza Car Rental is not informed and a police report is not lodged within 24 hours from the time of accident/incident to the vehicle. The renter is in breach of the terms and conditions of the Rental Agreement.

Loss items, accessories, and any damage claims arise out of the drunkenness and/ or drug intoxication driver.

Where the loss, damage, or theft is caused intentionally, or due to gross negligence of the Renter or an authorised driver.

Theft Protection

In the event of vehicle theft. The renter will be liable for the market value of the vehicle. However, this amount could be reduced to the excess amount as per CDW due to the rate inclusive of Vehicle Theft Cover.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that Renter purchase a personal travel insurance policy prior to the commencement or holiday. Forza Car Rental shall not be responsible for any loss or damage as of trip cancellation, personal baggage, personal accident, injury and illness.

Extension of Rental/ Excess Hours

Should the Renter intend to extend the rental beyond the original confirmed time, Renter must inform Forza Car Rental so as to extend the insurance coverage. Rental rates are calculated on a 24 hours basis and should a rental exceed the agreed duration, for each completed hour, a charge is levied based on 1/ 10 of the daily rental rate. Example: daily rental RM800, for each completed hour is RM800/10 = Rm80 per hour

Renter Responsibilities

The Renter accepts responsibilities to repair and change to new original parts at current market price plus labors on items that are damaged, lost, or stolen during the period of rental possibility of such incident would be as follows:

-scratches on car body which have to be repaint

-minor or major damaged on all front & rear lamp

-broken / smash windshield, window glass & wiper

-damaged on car seats (eg. cigarettes burn marks, stains, etc.)

-fender & bumper bend or fall off

-any missing & damaged item relating to the car

Renter must always make sure the vehicle’s water temperature is always at normal level. Should renters encounter water heating or temperature rise, stop the car at a safe area and contact our response team (+601126935161). For long distance drive, hirers must regularly check the water level and add water if needed.

Renter agrees in case of accident during the term of the rental of:

i: Obtaining the name and the addresses of the parties involved and witnesses.

ii: Not abandoning the said vehicle without adequate provisions for safeguarding and securing the vehicle.

iii: Giving a detailed report including diagram to Forza Car Rental immediately.

The vehicle should not be using :

i: In motor sports event, including racing, rallying and speed testing (out of normal vehicle usage)

Ii: In off road conditions

Iii: By any person under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Interior Cleaning:

The Renter is liable for all interior upholstery if the vehicle is returned with dirtied interiors.

The Rental is also liable for all interior and exterior damages and / or defects caused which do not fall within the normal usage of the vehicle.

Interior Damages

The Renter is liable for all damages to instruments, knobs and fitting in the vehicle.

Lost or Broken of Parts or Accessories

The renter is liable for all missing, broken parts during the rental period or vehicle returns unless the rental vehicle is damaged at the same time.

For example: Spare tires, rims, tools & jacks, lamp,audio set, gear lock, lighter, wiper, switch & control button, mats, rear view mirror and side view mirror, sun visor, headrest. Lost or damage of the above supplementary parts or accessories will be the responsibility of the Renter.

Loss of Vehicle keys/ Duplicate of Vehicle Key

The Renter is liable for all replacement costs which includes a new set of keys and security systems.

Loss of Belongings

Forza Car Rental is not liable for any missing, broken, stolen of the Renter’s belongings during vehicle returns for servicing and maintenance. The Renter is advisable to remove their valuable belongings during vehicle returns for servicing and maintenance. For example: Laptop, watches, sunglasses, notes, coins, touch & go, shoes, smart tag and etc.

Petrol

The minimum requirement for petrol is RON97, you may pump in any station you prefer. The renter should returned the vehicle with a same level of tank. A refuelling surcharge of RM100 will be levied for the rental vehicle returned with less than when originally rented out.

Non-smoking vehicle

Renter and all passengers shall not smoke while using a vehicle rented from Forza Car Rental. A sum of RM500 shall apply to remove cigarette odors and disinfect the interior of the vehicle.

Breakdown support

In the event of car breakdown, Renter may contact our 24 hours helpline immediately so that we are able to assist you depending on the situation, a replacement vehicle will be given subject to availability. However, if the breakdown is due to punctured tires, loss of key, forget to turn off the headlight which causes the battery to flat or empty the petrol tank. There will be a surcharge (From RM200 depends on area and situations) and the cost of replacing parts will be the responsibility of the Renter. (eg. battery, replacement key, spare tires etc.)

Parking Fees & Traffic FInes

The Renter is liable for all parking and traffic summonses incurred for the duration of the rental. An additional RM10 per summon administration fee (inclusive of 6% gst) will be charged to the renter over and above any fine and penalty cost for any violation arising from renter’s use of the vehicle. 

Vehicle condition

Upon return, the rented vehicle has to be in the same condition as when it was rented. Failing which, the Renter will be liable for the cost of restoring the vehicle to its original condition. Please check vehicle condition with Forza Car Rental representative and ensure dents / scratches are noted in the vehicle checklist to avoid dispute.

Restriction Area & Road

All Forza Car Rental vehicles are not allowed to be driven into Labuan, Langkawi, Singapore and Thailand. All Forza Car Rental vehicles are not for use in off-road, unsealed or unmade roads or surfaces.

One Way Rental

Should the vehicle return at a different city location, one way rental would be applied.

Rental alternative / Cancellation

Forza Car Rental reserves the right to cancel any rental prior to commencement for any reason or whatever. If the vehicle booked is not available due to unforeseen circumstances, Forza Car Rental reserves the right to replace with an alternative vehicle. Should Renter decide not to accept the alternative, all money paid by Renter will not be refunded without further obligation or liability on the payment of the company. Booking fee will be forfeited on cancellation of booking and all bookings are not allowed to change.
